Now that Norma Jennings knows the truth about what happened – Bob, Nyarlathotep, all the rest of it – Cooper is going to take advantage of the good feeling. He opens the door to the Double R, gives Norma a smile, passes the time of day…and tells her that he and Audrey Horne need to have a conversation, and the station isn’t the best place, and is there any way she could…?

Norma looks at the evening crowd, and gives him a lovely smile, and tells him not to worry, and she’ll have a cup of coffee right up.

Cooper slides into a booth by the door, just behind the jukebox, and thinks to himself that Big Ed Hurley is a lucky man.
